The San Jose Sharks have been on a roll since the start of their playoff run and it continued in Game 2 against the Vegas Golden Knights

Led by captain Joe Pavelski, who scored his second goal of the game late in regulation to tie things up, the Sharks were able to come from behind and win 4-3 thanks to an overtime goal from Barclay Goodrow.

While this was an exciting victory for San Jose fans, what made it even more special was how they were able to adjust throughout different stages of play — something that has become known as “Stars Adjusting”.

This term refers specifically to when a team is trailing or leading by one or two goals late in a game but still needs some adjustments if they want any chance at winning.

In these situations, teams typically rely on their top players such as Pavelski who can make quick decisions while under pressure and help turn things around quickly with just one shift change or tactical adjustment.

This is exactly what happened during Game 2 when Pavelski found himself down 3-2 with only minutes remaining before overtime began — he adjusted his line accordingly which allowed him enough time for another equalizing goal that would eventually lead them into OT where Goodrow sealed off the deal with yet another clutch performance!

On top of all this excitement there was also some great goaltending involved courtesy of Martin Jones – making key saves throughout both regular and extra time periods – along with contributions from other stars like Brent Burns who had two assists during regulation play; proving once again why Stars Adjustment works so well for teams like San Jose! All said though we can’t forget about Vegas either because Marc-Andre Fleury (aka The Kraken) played exceptionally well too despite being unable take home victory here tonight due largely part due lack offensive support compared opponents side; still impressive effort nonetheless deserves recognition regardless outcome match itself so hats off both squads overall showing here today!

San Jose Sharks, Round 2 playoffs, against the Vegas Golden Knights

The San Jose Sharks are back in the second round of the playoffs, and they’re looking to put an end to their long drought of not making it past this point.

The Sharks are set to face off against the Vegas Golden Knights, a team that has been one of their toughest opponents all season long.

This matchup is sure to be exciting for both teams as well as fans alike. Both teams have had strong seasons and have proven themselves capable of making deep runs into the playoffs.

For San Jose, this series will be about continuing what they started during Round 1: playing with intensity and using their speed on offense while relying on timely goaltending from Martin Jones when needed.

On paper, these two teams appear evenly matched up front; however there may be some advantages for each side depending on how things shake out over seven games (if necessary).

On defense, Vegas boasts a top-five penalty kill unit which could prove troublesome for San Jose if they don’t stay disciplined in terms of taking penalties or getting too aggressive offensively – something that cost them dearly at times during Round 1 against Anaheim Ducks .

Additionally ,the Golden Knights also boast an impressive power play unit which should give them plenty opportunities throughout this series if given enough chances by SJ's penalty killers..

Moreover ,San jose must capitalize upon its own special team advantage -which is its formidable powerplay squad -to make good use out off man advantage situations . Furthermore ,Sharks need consistent scoring from stars such Joe Pavelski who scored 9 points(4G+5A)in 6 games during first round .

In addition depth players like Marcus Sorensen needs step up his game again after producing decent numbers in first round (2G+1A)in 4 matches played so far ..Finally goaltender Martin Jones needs replicate his playoff performance he produced last year when he led sharks all way through Stanley cup final ..

Overall it promises to be an intense battle between two closely matched opponents who know each other well; whoever comes out triumphant can look forward having home ice advantage next time around!
